How We Started

Datamills' primary goal is to provide accurate and up-to-date information to facilitate quick and effective decision-making.

With this in mind, we conducted a detailed analysis of the platform, seeking improvements to make it more user-friendly.

The Process

We began by documenting the persona to guide our decision-making process. This information was extracted from the kickoff call (our initial technical interaction with the client). We documented the most important details for practical reference throughout the project.

Since the project aimed to restructure an existing platform, we initiated a heuristic analysis to identify and map areas for improvement in a detailed and targeted manner. This process allowed us to pinpoint the main shortcomings and enhancement opportunities to ensure a more efficient and satisfying user experience.

After analyzing the platform, we utilized the User-Centered Design Canvas (UCDC) system to define key concepts for both the business and users.

Our LIT results

We developed a new flow for the platform and the design system, and we created the new logo, always taking into consideration the client's expectations and needs, validating with the client what was feasible in terms of programming. As a result, we arrived at a new, modern, and optimized UI.

Last but not least

We included the adaptation of the platform for desktop and mobile. Furthermore, we documented all relevant information in the design system to streamline the platform development process, ensuring consistency and the project's maintenance and evolution.
